Krueger Plays Zez Confrey

This recording was produced in New York City during May of 1922 featuring Bennie Krueger baritone sax
& leader, accompanied by his Orchestra.

*"Stumbling" was composed by Zez Confrey.

Saxophone innovator Bennie Krueger leads his band in a dance number composed by novelty pianist Zez Confrey and billed as a 'fox trot oddity'. Here Krueger applies the use of slap tonguing and other reed effects, going to great lengths to show off such innovations as was his nature while truly making this piece his own.
