This recording was produced in New York City on January 30th 1930 featuring Henry Goodwin trumpet & vocals, Melvin Herbert trumpet, Waymon Richardson trombone, Rudy Powell clarinet & alto sax, Earl Evans alto sax, Horace Langhorn tenor sax, Cliff Jackson piano & director, Andy Jackson banjo, Chester Campbell bass brass, and Percy Johnson drums.

*"Horse Feathers" was composed by Cliff Jackson.

After forming his "Krazy Kats" in 1927 Cliff Jackson secured a standing engagement at New York's Lenox Club.

Located at 652 Lenox Ave. the establishment was on the same block as the Cotton Club and served as a late night hang out for members of the "Duke Ellington Orchestra".
