This recording was produced in New York City on June 24th 1927 featuring Ed Kirkeby vocals, Chelsea Quealey trumpet, Bobby Davis alto sax, Jack Russin piano, Adrian Rollini bass sax, and Herb Weil drums.

*"Heart Breakin' Baby" was composed by Ed Kirkeby and Adrian Rollini.

The "California Ramblers'" manager Ed Kirkeby lends his voice to this record released billed under their "Five Birmingham Babies" name containing a song he co-wrote with the pop jazz band's star of the bass saxophone Adrian Rollini. This 1927 date finds both parties in top form with calculating and nimble agility on the part of Rollini, in addition to comparable excellence from their supporting cast.
