"Live in Sydney"

This performance was filmed in Sydney, Australia on November 15th 2008 live at the Metro Theater featuring C.W. Stoneking resonator guitar & vocals, accompanied by Stephen Grant cornet, Stu Barker trombone, James Clark tuba, and Johnny Machin drums.

Australian guitarist and songwriter Christopher William Stoneking is an exceptional talent who describes his style of music as being simply hokum blues. Yet with the addition of his backing band the "Primitive Horn Orchestra" it sounds more like jazz to me. Aside from playing his own songs C.W. Stoneking is best known for tackling lesser performed 1920's numbers with great zeal never failing to entertain.
