Recorded in Chicago on November 7th 1923 by the "Benson Orchestra of Chicago" featuring personnel including Don Bestor piano & director, Frank Trumbauer alto sax, and William Foeste bass sax & drums.

*"Oklahoma Indian Jazz" is a fox trot credited to Ray Hibbler, T.J. Johnsen, J.W. Barna, J.W. Murrin, and T. Guarini and published in 1923.

Managed by cellist turned impresario Edgar A. Benson of several under his ownership the "Benson Orchestra of Chicago" was the top band bearing his name. One prominent feature of the Orchestra is the early saxophone work of Frankie Trumbauer. Originally directed by pianist Roy Bargy, the assembly is led here by his replacement Don Bestor.
