This Edison Diamond Disc was cut in New York City during March of 1928 featuring personnel including B A Rolfe trumpet & director, and Theo Alban vocals.

*"What'll I Do If The Mississippi Goes Dry?" was composed by Ed G Nelson, with lyrics by Harry Pease.

Former silent movie producer, B.A. Rolfe reestablished himself as a trumpet soloist in the early '20's after leaving the film industry. By 1926 he had formed a dance orchestra and was performing on Broadway at a cabaret called the Palais D'Or. The popular assembly would soon be additionally billed as "B.A. Rolfe (Trumpet Virtuoso) & His Palais D'Or Orchestra".
