Aurora Nealand

Female clarinet and soprano saxophonist, Aurora Nealand grew up in California and first arrived in New Orleans during 2005. After initially working a few years as sideman for groups including the "Panorama Jazz Band", "VaVaVoom", and the "New Orleans Moonshiners" since then she has established herself as one of the Crescent City's primer traditional jazz instrumentalists.

In 2010 Aurora formed her own group "The Royal Roses" and the band released their debut album "A Tribute to Sydney Bechet: Live at Preservation Hall".
