Recorded in New York City during January 1929 featuring Arthur Fields vocals, Mike Mosiello trumpet, Harry Blevins trombone & harmonica, Carl Edlund and Eddie Grosso clarinet & alto sax, Fred Hall piano & vocals, Tom Emerson violin, Albert Russo guitar & banjo, Al Morse bass brass, and Joseph Mayo drums.

*"Oh, Gee! There Ain't No Justice" was written by Fred Hall and Arthur Fields.

For their appearance on this 1929 Grey Gull and Madison label release "Fred Hall & His Orchestra" were billed as the "St. Louis Serenaders". Recorded pop singing sensation Arthur Fields joined forces with pianist and dance-bandleader Fred "Sugar" Hall for both the composition and recording of this entertaining novelty song.

Among the members of "Fred Hall's Orchestra" on this record the instrumental efforts of Harry Blevins on harmonica and violinist Tom Emerson are deserving of particular mention.
