This side was recorded on October 9th 1928 in Chicago (at the same session as "Parkway Stomp") featuring Punch Miller cornet & vocals, Albert Wynn trombone, Lester Boone clarinet, alto, & baritone sax, Alex Hill piano & arranger, 'Papa' Charlie Jackson banjo, and Sid Catlett drums.

*"Crying My Blues Away" was written by Alex Hill.

Shortly after this recording session Albert Wynn joined the "Sam Wooding Orchestra" for their European tour. After eighteen months he left the assembly to work with other musicians abroad including fellow Wooding Band trombonist Herb Flemming's "International Rhythm Aces", and in France with James Boucher in 1930.
