This recording was produced in New York City on June 23rd 1925 featuring unknown trumpet, Miff Mole trombone, Frank Trumbauer alto & c-melody sax, Rube Bloom piano, Harry Reser banjo, Joe Tarto tuba, and Harry Lottman drums.

*"What-Cha-Call-'Em Blues" was composed by Steve L. Roberts

The "Original Memphis Five" first came to appear as the "Tennessee Tooters" with the release of recordings produced at a session held during late December 1924.

They would continue to record under the name for twenty-one months.
