This classic side was recorded at the Webster Hotel in Chicago on September 16th 1926 featuring George Mitchell cornet, Kid Ory trombone, Omer Simeon clarinet, J Wright Smith and Clarence Black violins, Jelly Roll Morton piano & leader, Johnny St Cyr banjo, John Lindsay bass, and Andrew Hilaire drums.

*"Someday Sweetheart" was claimed to have been written by Ferdinand "Jelly Roll" Morton.

Morton reportedly sold the song to brothers John and Reb Spikes who later published it as their own in 1919.
